Agenda Item 5: Short-term Communications Plan – next steps
Decision
- Liz Rogers would act as the chair of the WPC Communications Group until her secondment to the Welsh Government ended in October.
- Devolved employers to provide a more permanent chair for the WPC Communications Group following the departure of Liz Rogers.
Action
- The WPC Support Team to arrange the next meeting of the Communications Group assisting Liz Rogers in her role as the Chair.
- Andrew Davies to discuss the issue of an employer chair for the WPC Communications Group with JEC member Sue Green.
- Devolved employers to discuss and nominate a chair for the WPC Communications Group following the departure of Liz Rogers in October.
Agenda Item 6: Draft WPC Newsletter
Decision
The JEC agreed the proposals outlined in the paper for this item to develop a WPC newsletter and distribute it through the GovDelivery Communications platform. The WPC Support Team would be responsible for drafting and distributing future newsletters following meetings of the WPC.

The WPC Support team to develop the WPC Newsletter to be ready for issue following each meeting of the Council.
