Private registered providers of social housing are required by Section 177 (1) of the Housing and Regeneration Act 2008 (the 2008 Act) to show the net proceeds of certain types of disposal, payments of grant and repayments of discount separately in their accounts as a Disposal Proceeds Fund (DPF).
