Thank you for your request which I received on 24 February 2022. You asked for the following information, regarding the age and vaccination status of confirmed COVID-19 hospital patients in Wales:

The ages and vaccination status of the 87 patients in Wales hospitals general beds being actively treated for covid on 22.2.2022 as opposed to being admitted for something else then testing positive in hospital.

The Welsh Government publishes data from Health Boards on the numbers of COVID-19 patients in acute hospitals actively treated for COVID-19 in Wales by date (gov.wales) however we do not hold the additional information you requested for those patients.

The Public Health Wales report Surveillance of vaccine status in confirmed COVID-19 episodes and hospital inpatients may be of interest to you. However, the data are as at 2 December 2021 and are not provided separately for patients being actively treated for COVID-19.
