Thank you for your request, which I received on 14.01.2022. You asked for:
1. A total amount of money Welsh Government has received from the UK Government via the Barnett formula as consequential funding, specifically for cladding remediation and building safety work following the tragedy at Grenfell tower.
2. The total amount of money from this consequential funding received which was spent on building safety work, including a breakdown of that expenditure.

Response
1. The total amount of funding Welsh Government received from the UK Government via the Barnett Formula for cladding remediation and building safety work following the tragedy at Grenfell Tower was £58.873m in capital and £1.177m in revenue.
2. The total amount of this funding spent on building safety is £0.00. We are unable to provide a breakdown of costs as this was spent because of Welsh Governments emergency response to COVID-19.
